To me, this album is about despair and determination. The first part builds a picture of hopelessness, culminating in the finale of The Afternoon of Human Life; the descent into despair. And that hopelessness is felt in Widest Possible Aperture. But in Illuminate, we take a look at what's around us, and see that the only way out is forward. And the end of the album is that determination to do so, despite the former hopelessness. projekt_119
